How can I identify which pest I have?
Look at the pest itself (size, colour, number of legs, wings) and the signs it leaves: mud tubes point to termites, pepper-like droppings to cockroaches, rust spots on sheets to bed bugs, and gnawed wires or bean-sized droppings to rats. Which pests are the most dangerous for health in Pakistan?
Mosquitoes are the most dangerous because they spread dengue and malaria. Cockroaches, flies and rodents are also serious because they contaminate food and spread bacteria that cause diarrhoeal disease and other infections.
Which pest causes the most property damage?
Termites (deemak) cause the most structural damage, eating door frames, wooden floors, furniture and roof timber from the inside. Rodents also cause significant damage by gnawing cables, pipes and stored goods.
Why do pests increase during the monsoon?
Rain creates standing water where mosquitoes breed, floods drains and burrows so cockroaches and rats move indoors, and humidity triggers termite swarms. Pre-monsoon treatment is the best way to stay ahead of the season.
Can one treatment cover several pests?
